In Division 2 Derry are in action again this week against Tipperary and manager Danny McGrellis is confident his side can get a result.

“I’m hopefully we can get our first win. We’ve got a game under our skin and it was a good competitive run out against Antrim in tough conditions, but it was a perfect game to get all the carelessness and nervousness out,” he said.

Armagh are still searching for their first win and they take on Offaly tomorrow in Division 3. Manager Sean Duffy has been encouraged by the commitment and work rate of his side in training since the Laois game.

“I’m hopefull we’ll get our first win of the National League. We’ve been training hard since the Laois game. The girls are really putting the work in and they’re really determined, hopefully all that hard work will pay off,” he said.

Down are also in action in the National League and manager Joe Baldwin is hoping that his side continue their fine run and the Mourne side will be boosted by the return of Fionnuala Carr.

“We’ve trained really hard and we’re looking forward to the challenge Meath pose. They appeared in an All-Ireland final and beat us twice last year so we won’t be taking them lightly, we’re hoping it’s third time lucky from a Down perspective,” said Baldwin.

Tyrone will be looking to get their League campaign back on track against Carlow tomorrow. The Red Hand girls will once again look to Juile Lagan and the O’Neill sisters to provide leadership while upfront the Jordan cousins will pose a threat to the Carlow defence.
