Randomers Give their Views as Cha Counts his Blessings

Sunday’s hurling semi-final was a bit of a damp squib in more ways than one. Even allowing for a rasping clip to his balls from Tom Kenny late in the game, Cha Fitzpatrick and his teammates gave a display of great power hurling to easily beat the Rebels.
Cue tears from Sully who the pundits had all but written off in the run up to the game. The legendary Cloyne fullback had a horse of a game and his devastation at losing what may be his last match in the blood and bandage was clear as he left the field distraught clenching the badge on his jersey as if his life depended on it. It probably does depend on it when you think about it.
There could well be further tears in the Cork camp when the CCCC get a closer look at Tom Kenny’s flick at Cha’s cojones during an altercation late in the game. According to Kilkenny sources Cha recovered well in the dressing room but only after the physio played frisbee with his injury for a while to try and get it back into shape. Kenny for his part could be sitting on the sidelines scratchin’ as the Cats march on.
Anyway, as you can see all the random punters seemed to enjoy their day out and sure isn’t that the main thing?
