Squareball was launched in June 2007 - Squareball has gone from a rough idea on a page, to a GAA-inspired fashion brand offering fans unique quality products.
Our gear is designed by fans for fans and we aim to capture the humour, the pride and the passion of the GAA. We also recognise that Fans want quality gear and don’t want to be ripped off so our stuff is produced to the highest possible standards - we’re our own biggest critics.
These are changing times and at Squareball we aim to bring the GAA with all its imperfections to the widest possible audience. Ambitious plans yes. For us - Playing is only part of it.
Forget mainstream and traditional, if anything we are a bit anarchaic. Our aim is to reach out to the grass roots of the game in a way that traditionalists will never be able to.
Squareball is a business of integrity, believing in quality and value for money. We hope our new and refreshing approach will spread across the organisation.
Squareball has a strong community spirit, after all the community is at the heart of the organisation. 'Playing is only part of it, says it all, you don't need to playing at Croke Park, in fact you don't even have to play at all.
The original idea for Squareball came back in 2003 when a t-shirt was produced for a local bar in Omagh prior to the All-Ireland final.
These charities are at the core of the community. In the long term Squareball would like to contribute something back to the community but the word profit may not appear in our vocabulary for quite some time. What we can do is raise awareness of the charities close to our hearts and promote them where possible. These charities are an inspiration to us.
